Verb Endings and Subjects

In Latin, each verb in the present tense can have one of six endings.  Each ending shows a different subject.

Here is a table showing these endings:

SINGULAR
PLURAL
-mus
-s
-tis
-t
-nt

Here is a table showing the subject pronouns that each endings matches:

SINGULAR
-I
PLURAL
-we
-you
-you
-he/she/it
-they

So,
- "venio" would mean "I come"
- "venis" would mean "you come"
- "venit" would mean "he comes," "she comes," or "it comes."
